Clinical Counseling Psychology

At the Department of Psychology at Seoul National University, the Clinical and Counseling Psychology group conduct research in clinical and counseling psychology based on the scientist-practitioner model and the counseling psychology training model. We also provide opportunities for students to gain expertise in therapeutic settings.
Our research in the field of clinical and counseling psychology covers various areas, including personality disorders and strengths, paranoia and delusion, adult attachment and interpersonal relationship, cognitive development and loneliness in older adults, the neurobiological mechanisms of substance and gaming addictions, emotions and decision-makin, and computational neuroscience.
